In General, vinyl chloride resins bond better to galvanized metal compared to acrylics. Vinyl chloride resins which are vinyl chloride co- and terpolymers, offer excellent adhesion to various metal substrates, including galvanized metal. They are specifically formulated to provide strong bonding and durability and are available with functional groups to improve the adhesion to metals.

Acrylics, on the other hand, can adhere to galvanized metal but often require proper surface preparation, such as cleaning and priming, to achieve a strong bond. Without this preparation, acrylics may not bond as effectively as Vinyl chloride resins.
