VAE can act as an compatibilizer, or adhesion promotor to gelatin glues. Especiall the low Tg dispersion and DPP powder graders, can be interesting to increase setting speed and adhesion strenght of the bond.
VAE dispersions are copolymers of VAM and Ethylene, mostly available as 55% solids in water.
DPP powders, are dried powders.
VAE powders are water solluble and the dried film is usually thermoplastic.
