VAE polymers can be already good water resistant for practical purposes, such as artificial grass applications. For wash resistant applications, there are crosslinking VAE dispersion polymers available.
VAE is a copolymer of Vinyl Acetate and ethylene. By changing the polymer ratio, the properties can be changed to get a softer or harder polymer film or end product. VAE can be combined with most additives like Flame retardants, fillers, pigments, thickeners, water and rheology modifiers.
