PVAC is known as “white glue” dispersion. It is available in standard waterproofing classes like D2, D3 and D4. D3 adhesives are already standard available as 50% biobased by massbalance methode of Redcert.
PVAC is mainly produced from VAM.
VAM in this case is made from ethylene and biobased acetic acid, by massbalance method.
In the future, VAM can also be made from biobased ethylene and biobased acetic acid, now, it’s commercially not yet available.
